Arlys Kijowski
March 30, 1930 — January 10, 2015
Arlys Irene Kijowski, age 84, of Toledo, passed away January 10, 2015 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio Toledo surrounded by her family. Arlys was born March 30, 1930 in Toledo to George and Crystal (Larsen) Easley. She was a Registered Nurse for over forty years. After retirement Arlys enjoyed breeding and showing champion Shih Tzu for forty years.
In addition to her parents, Arlys was preceded in death by her loving husband of 44 years, Edward Kijowski. She is survived by her son Mark (Julie) Kijowski, daughters Karen Kijowski and Diane (Horst) Ehricht and son Brian (Lisa) Kijowski, sisters Beverly Pioch and Sharon (William) Harris, grandsons Matthew Kijowski and Cory Coursen, granddaughters Sarah (Derek) Proudfoot, Kayla Kijowski and Cameron Kijowski, great grandchildren Lela and Noah Proudfoot.
The family will receive guests Thursday, January 15, 2015 from 10:00 am - 1:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home - SW Chapel, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd. (419-381-1900). Funeral Services will begin Thursday at 1:00 pm. in the funeral home followed by burial at Highland Memory Gardens.
Memorial contributions may be made to Paws and Whiskers of Toledo in Arlys's memory.
