Arletha A. House

Arletha A. House, 57, of Toledo, passed away August 16, 2021 at Ebeid Hospice. Arletha was born May 9, 1964 in Toledo to Freddy and Patricia (Streeter) Robinson.

She was a 1982 graduate of Start High School and then continued her education at Owen's Community College for her nursing degree and the University of Toledo earning her bachelor's degree. On September 2, 1989 she married her best friend, Gary House, in Toledo. Arletha owned her own catering business called, House Specialties.

Arletha enjoyed music and karaoking, especially to Prince, Pat Benatar, or anything 80's. She was a movie buff and would often times quote lines from movies. Arletha had a passion for being around friends and family and hosting events. She always had a love of cooking and had a dream to own a food truck. Arletha will be remembered as a fun loving jokester and missed dearly by all who knew her.

She is survived by her loving husband, Gary House; daughters, Heather (Aaron Vascik) Dassouki, Skylar (Dominique) Lloyd, Ashley (Alex D. Byrd) Rucker; grandchildren, Michael L. Dassouki, Sofia N. Lloyd, Sienna L. Lloyd, and DioVanni A. L. Byrd; and brother, Darryl Robinson.

Arletha was preceded in death by her parents.

The family will receive guests on Friday, August 27, 2021 from 4 - 6 p.m. at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Chapel, (419-381-1900) where a Memorial Service will begin at 6:00 p.m.
