Arlene M. Klinger

Arlene M. Klinger, age 95, of Sylvania, passed away Saturday, July 17, 2021 at Kingston Care Center of Sylvania. She was born on February 28, 1926 to Arthur and Eva (Keezer) Roehrig in Defiance, OH. Arlene worked for many years at Sylvania Bank as a bookkeeper. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, and doing cross stitch for many years. Arlene was also an avid gardener, something she loved. She looked forward to spending time with her family and grandchildren. Arlene's smile, spirit and caring nature will deeply be missed by all who knew and loved her.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Russell Klinger; and sister, Jeneane Deatrick. Left to cherish Arlene's memory are her loving children, Jeffrey (Mary) Klinger, Jerry (Elizabeth Ermini) Klinger, James (Denise) Klinger and Julie (Shane) Lampkin; brother, Arthur (Connie) Roehrig; grandchildren, Eric (Michelle) Klinger, Tobin Klinger, Jennifer (Shawn) Knapp, Jeremy (Lisa) Klinger, Jessica (Joe) Bradley, Kirsten Lampkin and Michelle Lampkin; 15 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and dear friends.

The family will receive guests on Thursday, July 22, 2021 from 1:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home – West Sylvania Chapel, 3655 King Rd., Toledo (419-392-9500). Funeral Services will begin Friday, July 23, 2021 at 12:00 p.m. with visitation from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service in the funeral home. Interment will follow in Toledo Memorial Park.
