Arleen J. Kaminski-Wells, age 63, of Swanton, passed away unexpectedly, Saturday, September 6, 2014 at home. She was born on August 12, 1951 to Edward and Evelyn (Flowers-Kwiatkowski) Kaminski in Toledo. Arleen loved gardening, cooking and her dogs. She enjoyed playing poker, pool, dancing and singing with Ctunes and the No-Notes. For many years she enjoyed spending time at her cottage on Round Lake. Arleen also loved get-togethers with her family and friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Lynne Blossom; nephew, Scott Blossom; and uncles, Ziggy, Spooks and Stoney. Arleen is survived by her husband of 36 years, Harvey Wells; his daughter, Barbra (Wyatt Hazlett) Wells; his grandchildren, Sayre Fox and Stephen Meinschein; brother, Craig Kaminski; nephews, Phillip (Amy) and Roger Blossom; great nieces & nephews, Alexa, Dylan, Anthony, Jacob and Travis, Cpl. USMC; great-great nephew & niece, Tyson and Emiliah; close friends, Cindy (George) Tauber and Candy (Randy) Bee; and many other dear friends.
The family will receive guests on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd., Toledo (419-473-0300). A Memorial Service will begin at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday in the funeral home. Officiating will be Pastor Tim Pilat.
