Anthony Robert Zoltowski, Sr.

Anthony R. Zoltowski, Sr., age 71, of Toledo, passed away peacefully Friday, April 17, 2020 at home. He was born June 23, 1948 in Wyandotte, Michigan. Anthony owned his own Home Improvement Company and worked for more than 30 years. He was a US Marine Veteran serving his country proudly. Anthony was a longtime member of American Legion, most recently Post #606 and also attained status as a 4th Degree Knights of Columbus. Before moving to Toledo, Anthony and his family lived in Lincoln Park, Michigan where he was elected to City Council, something he really enjoyed.

He was a devoted family man and truly enjoyed spending time with his wife, children and grandchildren. Attending his grandchildren's sporting events was something Anthony looked forward to each new season; he was their biggest fan, cheering them on with every accomplishment.

Anthony recently attended his granddaughter Paige's graduation of Boot Camp and her "Tap Out" Ceremony at Lackland US Air Force Base in Texas. He beamed from ear-to-ear during the entire event with pride and respect for Paige's accomplishments. Hoo-Rah!

Anthony is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Linda (Gilligan) Zoltowski; children, Veronica (Fidel) Martinez and Anthony "TJ" (Kelly) Zoltowski, Jr.; grandchildren, Boden and Maxson Martinez and Paige, Monica, Tristan and Alex Zoltowski.

Anthony was preceded in death by his mother, Josephine (Aniol) Zoltowski, his brother, sister and niece, as well as aunts and uncles.

The family is planning a Celebration to remember Anthony at a later date.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Down Syndrome Association of Greater Toledo in Anthony's memory.
