Anthony R. "Tony" Feudi, age 84, passed away Monday, January 25, 2010 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio in Perrysburg, Ohio. On April 5, 1925 he was born to John and Caterinna (Carocci) Feudi in Segundo, CO. On April 24, 1945 Tony married Elaine (Santay) Feudi in St. Johns Catholic Church in Toledo, Ohio. Tony was a former Union Steward, commercial artist and painter for Coca-Cola in Toledo for many years. He served as Secretary-Treasurer and then President of Local 361, Teamsters Soft Drink and Dairy Union; also active with the Ohio Soft Drink and Dairy Conference; active member for a number of years with the Teamsters Central Conference; long-time President of the local Teamsters Credit Union; active in Teamsters Joint Counsel 44. He had the privilege of being a Past-Grand Marshall of the Labor Day Parade here in Toledo. Tony was a loving and supportive husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. His greatest joy was spending time at his cottage on Evans Lake with his family, where he was a former-Trustee on the Evans Lake Land Owners Association.
He is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Elaine; three sons, John (Judy) Feudi, Jim (Diane) Feudi, Jerry (Rose) Feudi; grandchildren, Michelle Feudi, Joseph (Jill) Feudi, Angela (Brian) Gardner, Antonio (Jamie) Feudi, Gina (J) Miller, Andrea (Pete) Lepley; great-grandchildren, Noah, Emilie, Lil John, Brynn, Jordan, Jaden, Braden, Gavin, Hudson and James. Preceding him in death are his parents; 4 brothers; 3 sisters and grandson, Nicholas Feudi.
The family will receive guests 2-8:00 p.m. on Friday, January 29, 2010 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300). The family will also receive guests 9-10:00 a.m. Saturday, January 30, 2010 at Regina Coeli Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10:00 a.m. in Regina Coeli Catholic Church. Officiating will be Fr. James Auth. Interment will follow in Toledo Memorial Park.
