Anthony R. "Tony" DeLuna, age 27, of Toledo, passed away on Tuesday, October 17, 2017. He was born on October 13, 1990 to Richard and Janet (Maluchnik) DeLuna in Oregon, Ohio. Tony attended Whitmer High School. Most recently he worked for Fiat-Chrysler Corp. at TNAP. He was a loyal sports enthusiast, always rooting for the Cleveland Browns, The Ohio State Buckeyes football, Boston Celtics and Duke basketball. Tony enjoyed his Monday-Funday dart ball with his dad and brothers. Most precious to him was his family and especially his children, they were his pride and joy. His family will cherish his memory for his heart of gold, sense of humor and his free spirit, which he shared with his mother. No matter the journey that life took him on, Tony left a lasting impression on everyone he met.
Left to cherish his memory is his father, Richard DeLuna; daughters, Janet and Toni DeLuna; and two sons, Anthony II and Angelo DeLuna and their mother, Nicayala Santibanez; siblings, Kristine (Danny) Garcia, Richard (Thesha) DeLuna, Jr. and Eddie DeLuna (fiancé, Nichole Zieroff); special friend, Jessina Elizondo; many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews and a host of dear friends. Welcoming him with open arms was his mother, Janet. Also preceding him in death is the mother of his daughters, Danielle Blake.
The family will receive guests on Sunday, October 22, 2017 from 2-8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300). His Funeral Service will begin in the funeral home on Monday, October 23, 2017 at 10:30 a.m.
