Annabelle Dear

Annabelle Dear, age 78, of Toledo, passed away Thursday, August 21, 2008 at St. Vincent Mercy Hospital. She was born February 4, 1930 to Lester and Lena Post in Elyria, Ohio. Annabelle will be remembered by all who knew her for her bright eyes and wonderful smile that she warmly shared with everyone she met.

In addition to her parents, Annabelle was preceded in death by her brother. She is survived by her husband of 36 years, Arthur Dear; special friends, Ann, Carl & Larry Schmidt and Sandra Scott and 7 siblings.

Friends are invited Thursday at 6:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300) followed by a Memorial Service beginning at 7:00 p.m.

After losing her home at the Renaissance Care Center, Annabelle was welcomed at The Lutheran Home of Toledo, where she made her new home. We would like to express a special thank you to the staff of the Lutheran Home of Toledo for the loving care and support they provided and also a thank you to the staff and caregivers at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center and St. Charles Mercy Hospital for their care.
