Anna Zinkl

Anna P. Zankl, age 90, of Toledo, passed away peacefully Wednesday, July 2, 2008 at Manor at Perrysburg. She was born May 4th, 1918 to Joseph and Mary (Fastenmeier) Buchler in Altoona, Pennsylvania. Anna was a loving wife, mother and grandmother enjoying time spent with family and friends. She was also a longtime member of Regina Coeli Church.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her loving husband of 56 years, John Zankl; brothers, Herman; Edward and Pauly and sisters, Mary and Irma. Anna is survived by her sons, John (Sharon) Zankl and Robert (Ursula) Zankl; brother, Joseph; sisters, Tillie; Martha; Helen and Theresa; 3 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

The family will receive guests Sunday from 3-8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300) with a Scripture Service beginning at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Services will begin Monday at 9:15 a.m. at the funeral home followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. at Regina Coeli Church, 530 Regina Parkway. Officiating will be Fr. James Auth. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery.
