Anna Mae Ingle, age 84, of Delta, formerly a lifelong resident of Sylvania, passed away Thursday, December 13, 2012 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Toledo, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on January 21, 1928 to Cornelius and Vara (Camp) Baker in Potomac County, Illinois. Anna loved to travel, dance, do puzzles and crosswords, crafts, cooking and canning, music, and reading, especially cookbooks. She collected dolls and crystals as well. Anna was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary VFW Post 2898. You couldn't ask for a better mother, grandmother, sister and friend who lived her life for her family.
Anna's fun loving spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Edwin Ingle; sons, Steven and Gary Ingle; grandson, Steven Ingle; and brothers, Delmar, Lewis, William, Pete and Robert Baker. Anna is survived by her loving children, Larry (Janice) Ingle, Sandra Presnell, Brenda (Martin) Schaber and Lee (Cathy) Ingle; 14 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; sisters, Mary (Carl "Jr.") Erickson and Nancy (Tom Hadley) Shockey; brother, Morton Russell Baker; and many other relatives and dear friends.
The family will receive guests on Sunday from 4 – 8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd., Toledo (419-381-1900) with Ladies Auxiliary Services at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Services will begin Monday at 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home. Interment will follow in Toledo Memorial Park.
