Anna L. Brubaker, age 86, of Toledo, passed away on Saturday, October 26, 2013. She was born on November 29, 1926 to Glen and Myrtle (Dannenhauer) Bacus in Kahoka, Missouri. Anna was a member of Regina Coeli Church, member of Salesians, 55 Club, St. Francis Guild and a Birthday Club. She worked for Washington Local Schools in the cafeteria at Jackman Elementary for 27 years.
She is survived by her daughters, Barbara (Dave) Murray of Toledo and Pamela Brubaker of Nashville, TN; grandchildren, Denise (Dan) Stemen of Greensboro, NC and Kris (Connie) Fries of Sylvania; great-grandchildren, Nick, Ben and Sam. In additional to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Brubaker; son, Jerry; daughter, Pat and sister, Ida Mae.
The family will receive guests on Sunday, November 3, 2013 from 2-8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300). The Rosary will be recited in the funeral home jointly by the Salesians and Regina Coeli Rosary & Altar Society at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday. Final Prayers will begin in the funeral home on Monday, November 4, 2013 at 9:00 a.m. with her Funeral Mass to follow at 10:00 a.m. at Regina Coeli Church, 530 Regina Parkway. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery.
