Ann M. Olligschlager, age 83, of Waterville passed away Saturday, April 18th, 2020 at Lakes of Monclova. She was born June 2nd, 1936 in Toledo to Chester and Dorothy (Downs) Burgin.
Ann worked at Sautters Grocery Store in Waterville for more than 25 years, retiring in 1996. Ann enjoyed striping and refinishing furniture, and was often inspired by watching HGTV and taking note of the latest home furnishing designs. She loved to attend Garage Sales, Antique Stores and Estate Sales, always searching for hidden treasures to make her own. Ann loved bowling on Sunday nights with her husband through the years. What Ann cherished more than anything was spending time with her family creating memories and the love she had for all of the animals that came into her life.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Jean Spofford and brother, John Burgin. Ann is survived by her loving husband of almost 41 years, Hans Olligschlager; son, Kenneth Busson of Whitehouse, Ohio and daughter, Kelly (Tim) Rains of Swanton, Ohio; stepchildren, Steve Olligschlager (Kara) and Jeff Olligschlager (Heather). Also left to cherish Ann's memory are her grandchildren, Justin, Jordan, Evyn, Jacob, Seth, Paige, Jeff, Alex, Joshua, Collin.
We would like to say a special thank you to the Lakes of Monclova and Hospice of NWO for the wonderful care they gave our Mom over the last few years.
The Olligschlager Family will have a Memorial Ceremony to celebrate Ann's life in the summer when all family and friends can come together again to remember.
