Ann Marie Neumann

Ann M. Jacobs Neumann passed away peacefully on December 5, 2022 in Bowling Green, Ohio. She was born on September 23, 1925 to Ann (Gorman) and Roy Newsome in Warren, Ohio. Ann was raised in a strong Irish Catholic family along with siblings Roy (Nancy), Richard (Alice), Thomas, Leo (Helen), Robert (Mary Lou), and Mary (Thomas) DiCola. Mary is the only surviving sibling.

After graduating high school in Warren, Ann married Charles Harold Jacobs, Sr. in 1946, and they moved to Toledo, Ohio. Together they raised Charles H. Jacobs, Jr. (Dr. Sonia Ramirez) and Ann G. (Michael) Thompson. Preceding Ann Neumann in death was her daughter, Ann and infant daughter, Charlene. After Charles Sr.'s death, Ann remarried to Edward Neumann. He also preceded her in death. Ann Neumann leaves behind three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Ann was an extremely successful realtor for both Lindsay Realty and Danburry Realty throughout the Toledo area for decades. She greatly enjoyed entertaining and traveling. An accomplished cook, Ann set a very fine and delicious table for family and guests. Christmas was her favorite holiday and she always had a well-ornamented tree as is the Newsome tradition.

A graveside service will be held on December 15, 2022, at Resurrection Cemetery in Toledo, Ohio. In lieu of flowers, the family asks you donate to Hospice of Northwest Ohio to help continue their work of loving care.
