Anmarie C. Lietaert

Anmarie C. Lietaert, age 54, of Toledo, passed away November 5, 2021 at Ebeid Hospice Residence after battling cancer. She was born December 22, 1966 in Monroe, MI Sharon (Donald) Baacke and H. Michael Lietaert. Anmarie was a 1985 graduate of Genoa High School. She enjoyed her time working with children at Lucas County Children Services. Anmarie later worked for the Zepf Rehabilitation Center. She was embarking on a new career at Beacon and Associates selling insurance. Anmarie enjoyed her time with her friends, and cooking meals for her parents who reside at Genesis Village.

Anmarie's brothers would like to especially thank Sean, Connie, Heather and Rhonda for loving their sister and making her happy all these years, and the care and concern they displayed during her battle over these past few months.

Anmarie's feisty and goofy spirit will be deeply missed by her family and friends.

She is survived by her mother, Sharon (Donald) Baacke; brothers, Daniel (Sandy) Lietaert and Thomas (Beth) Lietaert; significant other, Sean Greenwood; friends, Connie Schnitkey, Heather Smith-LaPointe and Rhonda Wise; step-siblings, Cheryl Baacke, Brian (Cindy) Baacke and Eric (Keri) Baacke; aunt Lois (Rich) Joseph; uncle Ken (June) Copi; and special canine companion "Barney."

The family will receive guests Wednesday, November 10, 2021 from 2:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. at Newcomer - SW Chapel, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd. (419-381-1900). A Celebration of Life will begin Wednesday at 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Aurora Project Inc. in Anmarie's memory.
