Angus Macpherson

Angus "Scotty" MacPherson, Jr., age74, of Sylvania, passed away Monday, April 3, 2006 at Lake Park Nursing Home. He was born on June 3, 1931 to Angus and Margaret (Smyth) MacPherson, Sr. in Philadelphia, PA. Scotty was a regional manager with the AIPSO Insurance Company for over 25 years retiring in 1999.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his two sons, Angus III and Bruce MacPherson. Scotty is survived by his loving children: Heather (Rich) Gerken and Gordon MacPherson; grandsons: Logan, Garrett, Mitchell and Easton; 1 nephew; 1 niece; and many friends in Birmingham, AL.

The family will receive guests on Thursday, April 6, 2006 in the Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd., Toledo, (419-473-0300) from 4 – 8:00 p.m. Funeral Services will take place Friday at 11:00 a.m. at Christ Presbyterian Church, 4225 W. Sylvania Ave. Officiating will be The Rev. Dr. Tom Schwartz. Interment will take place in Riverside Cemetery, Defiance.
