Angeline E. "Angie" Carros, age 84, of Toledo, passed away peacefully, Thursday, March 12, 2015 at her granddaughter's home surrounded by loving family. She was born on August 15, 1930 to Francisco and Angeline (Fodi) Carlo in Toledo. Angie worked at Frisch's Big Boy on Woodville Rd. and T.B.S. for 40 years before retiring from both. She was a longtime member of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church. Angie never met a stranger and was known as Grandma to everyone she met. She loved spending time with her family, especially her great-grandchildren, who she referred to as her "million dollar packages."
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Veronica Carros; brothers, Pete, Dominic and Tony Carlo; sister, Jenny Cooper; and sister-in-law, Phoebe Carlo.
Angie is survived by her loving daughter, Deborah (Michael) Kunz; grandchildren, Earnnie "Dino" Camp, Carrie (Gil) Seeburger and Marcie (Matt) Bridges; great-grandchildren, Dean Camp, Timothy Chadwick, Hope Dent, Janna Seeburger, Merlin Seeburger and Josiah Seeburger; sister, Mary Parker; loving caregiver of 12 years, Ruby Tanis; longtime friend, MaryAnn (Shawn) Pirolli; "step-daughter", Marcie Jackson; and many other family members and dear friends.
The family will receive guests on Saturday, March 21, 2015 from 12:00 – 4:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd., Toledo (419-473-0300) with
Memorial Services beginning at 4:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
