Angela M. Wiseman

Angela M. "Angie" Wiseman, age 95, of Toledo, passed away peacefully Friday, January 12, 2018 at Lane Park of Oregon. She was born on June 7, 1922 in Toledo to Frank and Rosa (Tutino) Recchia. Angie went to St. Vincent de Paul grade school and graduated from Woodward High School in 1940 and attended Tri-State Business School. She was a longtime member of Regina Coeli Church belonging to the Alter Rosary Society and worked on different projects for festivals and cleaning church groups. Angie was also a member of the Alba Club, known as "Lena" to all of her Italian friends. She was employed with Bostwick and Braun and Sentle Trucking as a billing clerk. Angie enjoyed crocheting, knitting, gardening and going to the YMCA weekly.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Joe V. Wiseman, Sr. in 1978; and her brother, Steve Recchia. Angie is survived by her loving children, Carole Raley, Joe Jr. (Martha) Wiseman and Mike (Stacey) Wiseman; grandchildren, Chrissy Wiseman, Taran (Lloyd) Donaldson, and Mickey Wiseman; great-grandchildren, Ava Nevarez, Jayden and Raelynn Donaldson and one on the way; sister-in-law, Shirley Barron; and many nieces, nephews and dear friends.

The family will receive guests on Wednesday, January 17, 2018 from 4 – 8:00 p.m. at Newcomer – Northwest Chapel, 4150 W. Laskey Rd., Toledo (419-473-0300). Funeral Services will begin Thursday, January 18, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home. Interment will follow in Historic Woodlawn Cemetery.
