Angela L. Bodi, 91, went to be with her Lord on October 1, 2013. She was born on January 28, 1922 to the late Barbara and Joseph Snyder in Assumption, Ohio.
Angie was a devout Catholic and was a parishioner at St. Clement Parish for many years. She loved looking after her grandchildren and great-grandchildren while they were growing up. Angie enjoyed doing crafts and cooking for her family. She especially enjoyed baking for family gatherings and even made the wedding cakes for her five children.
In addition to her parents, Angie was preceded in death by her loving husband, Howard; daughter, Yvonne Grycza and son, Roger Bodi. Left to cherish her memory are her children, Joan (Bruce) Lammon, Darlene (Robert) Vigh and Robert (Helen) Bodi; siblings, Fr. Frederick Snyder, Viola Dierkens and Patricia Bronson; 17 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great-grandchildren.
The family will receive guests on Monday, October 7, 2013 from 4-8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd., Toledo (419-473-0300). The Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday at St. Clement Parish, 3030 Tremainsville Rd., Toledo. Interment will take place at Calvary Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions may be made to any of the Breast Cancer Research and Awareness organizations.
