Angela J Grames

Angela J. Grames, born on July 16, 1974, in Toledo, Ohio, passed away peacefully on January 15, 2025, at the Hospice of Northwest Ohio in Perrysburg. She was a devoted nursing assistant, dedicating her life to working with and helping others. Angela's compassion and dedication to patient care left a lasting impact on all those she encountered.

Angela cherished her family immensely, particularly the time spent with her beloved grandchildren, Mark, Tru, Malachai, and Malique. Her ability to nurture and love was evident in her role as a mother to Chris, William, Isaiah, and her daughter, Tyra Yates. She is survived by her husband, Patrick Grames, and her mother, Jean Crisp. Angela also leaves behind her sisters, Kathy Wheeler, Pamela (Bryan) Benedict, and Susan (Ben) Morris, along with her mother-in-law, Lynn Dartt and father-in-law, Patrick Paul Grames Sr.

Angela's interests extended beyond her professional life. She was an active member of Community House Church where she found joy and fulfillment. In her leisure time, she enjoyed laying out in the sun while listening to the soothing sounds of wind chimes. A remarkable cook, she delighted in preparing meals for her family, creating lasting memories around the dining table.

Angela is preceded in death by her father, David Schmidt; her son, Anthony Johnson; her step-father, Austin Crisp; and her brother-in-law, Mike Wheeler. Her departure leaves a void in the lives of many, but her spirit will continue to shine through the countless lives she touched. Angela will be profoundly missed by her family and friends.

Friends will be received at Community House Church, 3708 West Laskey Rd, Toledo, Ohio 43623 on Tuesday, January 21, 2025 at 12 :00 PM fellowship and a celebration of life will begin at 1:00 PM. In lieu of flowers donations memorial donations may be made to Angela's Go Fund Me.
