Andrew Michael Parish

Andrew Michael Parish, age 28, of Greeley, Colorado, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, March 10, 2018. He was born on July 22,1989 to Alfredo De Jesus and Sarah (Parish) Cruz in Peru, Illinois. Andrew was a dedicated fan of all Chicago's sports teams, including the Bulls, the Cubbies, and da Bears. He cherished music and really enjoyed going to live shows. Some of his favorite bands were Tool, Deftones, and A Perfect Circle. He also really enjoyed video games but seemed to have a particular distaste for the controllers! In his younger years he enjoyed playing basketball and even most recently took joy in shooting hoops with his family and friends. He appreciated family very much and was often the brightest light at a cookout or gathering to throw horseshoes. Above everything, most precious to him was the family he had built; especially his wife, Sabina Vallejo-Parish and daughter, Abbigail Marie Parish.

Left to cherish his memory is his mother, Sarah Cruz; wife, Sabina Vallejo-Parish; daughter, Abbigail Marie Parish; siblings, Leticia Parish, Manuel Parish and Marrisa Parish (Anton Hubbard); nephews, Devon and Mion Parish, Anton Jr. and Adrien Hubbard; niece, Piper Parish; mother and father-in-law, Rosa (Rafael) Vallejo; great-grandma, Gloria Kinn; aunt, Marcilla Quinn; uncle, Jeffery Parish; and a host of friends from Ohio, Illinois and Colorado. He was preceded in death by his father, Alfredo De Jesus; grandma, Doris Trevino; grandpa, Gilbert Trevino; nieces, Thea and Athena Hubbard; and several great-aunts and great-uncles.

The family will receive guests on Thursday, March 22, 2018 from 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home-Northwest Chapel, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300). His Funeral Service will begin in the funeral home on Thursday at 12:00 p.m. Interment will follow in Toledo Memorial Park.
