Andrew Joseph Minet

Andrew Joseph Minet, age 71, of Toledo, passed away January 9, 2016 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio Toledo. He was born October 16, 1944 in Toledo to Andrew Minet and Marcine (Young) Albrecht. Andrew served in the U.S. Army Air National Guard. He was employed with Johnson Controls in the battery division for more than 12 years, and then with the University of Toledo Medical Center for more than 10 years. Andrew was a member of the Toledo Eagles. He enjoyed camping at Hidden Lake Campground in Swanton for 17 years. Andrew also enjoyed stamp collecting, coins and baseball cards.

Andrew is survived by his loving wife of 34 years, Sharon A. Minet; daughter, Mindy (Mike) R. Hilyard; grandson, Michael Andrew Hilyard; special relatives Clarence and Bonnie Ishler and special friend Sharon Graff and faithful canine companion, "Mac" Minet.

In keeping with Andrew's wishes there will be no visitation or services, the family will have their own private service at a later date.

Memorial contributions may be made to Cherry Street Mission, Toledo Area Humane Society or Hospice of Northwest Ohio in Andrew's memory.
