Andrew M. Ellis

Andrew Ellis, age 47, of Maumee, passed away unexpectedly on January 12, 2024. He was born in Webster, Texas on August 11, 1976, and grew up in Waterville, OH. Andrew was a 1994 graduate of Anthony Wayne High School and married the love of his life, Mary Ankenbrandt on September 30, 2006.

He will be remembered for his devotion and love for his wife, Mary. He loved his children, Taylir and Hank endlessly. Loving Papa to Sophia & Johnny. He was his family's biggest supporter.

Andrew's extensive music career has allowed him to touch the lives of people all over the world. His art and music, will live on. Andrew's tag line for his music career was "I'm not trying to change the world, I'm just writing the soundtrack"

Andrew leaves behind his loving wife, Mary; children, Taylir and Hank; grandchildren, Sophia and Johnny; mother Jodie (Tom ) Ihrke, sister Shannon (Tim) Baxter, Kim (Bryan) Barnes. Father and mother in-laws, Tim & Sheri Ankenbrandt: brother in-law, Tim (Emily) Ankenbrandt as well as many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Michael Roy Ellis.

To know Andrew, was to love him. There wasn't a day that went by, that he didn't make sure that his family knew how much he loved them. Every friend left with a big hug, and an I love you. His love was just too big for his heart to contain any longer.
