Andrew Dixon

Andrew Donald "Andy" Dixon, age 34, of Toledo, Ohio, the love of a mother's heart, passed away unexpectedly, Tuesday, February 23rd, 2010. Andy was born June 20th, 1975 to Donald and Mary Dixon (Carpenter). Andy was a 1993 graduate of Whitmer High School. He was a journeyman toolmaker for 12 years. Survivors include his loving Mother, Mary Dixon; his first love, best friend and mother of his children, Jennifer (Warrener) Dixon;children, Dylan Francis and Audrey Willow Dixon; sisters, Rachel (Brian) Kalas and Sarah (Tom) Russell; brother, Daniel Dixon; numerous nieces and nephews; and special loves Amie and Korie. Andy was preceded in death by his father, Donald Dixon. Andy will be deeply missed and was dearly loved by his family and friends.

The family will receive guests Monday from 2-8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300). The rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. in the funeral home . A Memorial Mass will be Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. at Christ the King Church, 4100 Harvest Lane.

At the family's request, in lieu of flowers, those wishing to make an expression of sympathy in Andy's memory are asked to consider Alcoholic's Anonymous or Narcotic's Anonymous.
