Two of their favorite vacations were to the Hawaiian Islands and San Francisco. They were married for 36 years until her death at the young age of 58 in 1982.
Andy married Margaret Earnhart and moved to Dalton, Georgia in 1986. He lived there for 26 years before returning to Toledo in 2012 to be near his daughters. He resided at the West Park Place retirement home for 18 months.
