Andrea M. Zatko, age 45, of Sylvania, passed away peacefully, Monday, April 20, 2009 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Toledo surrounded by her loving family. She was born on September 19, 1963 to Paul G. and Marianne F. (Langenhorst) Zatko in Toledo. Andrea graduated from Notre Dame Academy and Owens Community College with a degree in accounting. She was an avid fan of The Ohio State Buckeyes and a lover of all things Native American. She was very forgiving, caring and had a warm heart, making friends wherever she went. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Marianne Zatko. Andrea is survived by her loving children, Brightan Zatko and Joshua Clark; father, Paul G. Zatko; siblings, Thomas (Michele) Madden, Jr., Nicholas (Paulette) Madden, Sr., Barbara (Tom) Huff, Michael (Ann) Zatko, Eric (Lisa) Zatko and Ami (Donnie) Absher; aunt, Margaret Zatko; uncle, Frank Zatko; and many other family members and dear friends.
The family will receive friends on Sunday from 2 – 8:00 p.m. at the Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd., Toledo (419-473-0300) with a Scripture Service at 7:00 p.m. Prayer Services will begin Monday at 9:30 a.m. in the funeral home followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. at Christ the King Catholic Church, 4100 Harvest Ln, Toledo. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery.
