Andrea S. Greenwood

Andrea S. (McNally) Greenwood, age 73 of Toledo, Ohio died peacefully at Hospice of Northwest Ohio - Perrysburg on October 31, 2024 after a courageous battle with cancer.

Andrea, born and raised in Toledo, attended Scott High School and the Toledo Beauty Academy. She began her career as a beautician at the downtown location of the Lion Store and moved to Northtowne until its closure. She was self employed for the remainder of her career working at both Golden Elegance and AJs Emporium salons until her retirement in 2023. 

She was a kind and loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend. Andrea especially loved spending time with her family, playing games, swimming and traveling. She especially enjoyed the historical places she saw while visiting her grandchildren in New England.

She is survived by her husband of 56 years Joseph Greenwood, her daughters Julie (Michael) Kruzel and Jody (Chad) Whiting, Grandchildren: Michaela (Jedediah) Caldwell, Daniel (Sarah) Kruzel and Olivia Whiting, Brother Barry (Margaret) McNally and sister Teddi Vaughan. She was preceded in death by her parents Janet (Collins McNally) and Roy Webb, brother Arnett McNally, sister (Ina) Patsy Theriac and brother-in-law Clarence Theriac.

A special thank you to Amy, her home care nurse and the Cardiac ICU team at St Annes for their compassionate care.

Family and friends may visit at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3655 King Road, Toledo, Ohio 43617, on Saturday, November 9, 2024, from 11:00 am – 3:00 pm. A celebration of life will be at 3:00 pm.
