Andre Gene Munn was called home to our Lord on May 16, 2024, at the age of 74, under the care of Advanced Healthcare Center. Andre passed away peacefully. Andre was born on April 28, 1950, to the union of Robert Sr. and Roberta Munn. He was educated through the Rossford Public School system.
Andre worked at various factory and constructions jobs throughout his life, until his health prevented him from working. Andre accepted Christ at an early age, while attending Rossford First Baptist Church, he later joined Friendship Baptist Church and later New Hope Baptist Church until his health started to decline.
He was married to Ann Nettles and through this union they had two children. Then later in life he married Margaret Ramsey and to this union three more children were added to the family.
Andre had a passion for Harley Davidson motor cycles, this led him to join the motorcycle club "The Night Riders" where he was affectionately known as "Sho-Gun" where he held the position of Sargeant at Arms. Gene loved to ride his motorcycle so much to where he traveled North, South, East and West. He loved to listen to the Blues, watching his favorite Baseball team Cleveland Indians (now Cleveland Guardians) and his favorite NFL team Cleveland Brown.
Andre was preceded in death by his parents, both sets of grandparents, and sisters Diane Munn, Juanita Mitchell & brother Robert Munn
He leaves to cherish his memory, daughters Patricia (Claude) Jones, Gloria Munn both from Toledo, OH; sons Andre´ Munn (Toledo, OH), Patrick (Chere´) Munn (Atlanta, GA), Derrick Ramsey (Toledo, OH), 24 grandchildren, 39 Great grandchildren. Brothers Joe (Linda) Munn, Herman (Debra) Munn, Carl (Judy) Munn, all of Toledo, OH, George (Yvonne) Munn, (Jacksonville, TX), Eric Munn, James (Kimberly) Munn, of Toledo OH. Sisters, Deborah Munn and Belinda (Curtis) Collier, Toledo, OH; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends. He will be truly missed and always remembered by all.
Family and friends will be received at the Newcomer Funeral Home (Southwest Chapel) on Wednesday, May 29, 2024 from 4:00-6:00 PM.
