Amy Jo Drescher

Amy J. Drescher, age 53, of Toledo, passed away peacefully Monday, May 27, 2013 at Regency Hospital of Toledo. She was born on December 31, 1959 to Alma (Jankowski) Wieczorek in Toledo. Amy had been employed with Gallon Takacs, the ASU Group, the Toledo Clinic and most recently for the past few years with Omni Care in pharmaceutical billing. She enjoyed painting ceramics for the different holidays and seasons and crocheting afghans. Amy liked to play darts, bingo and go bowling and loved playing on her computer. She was an avid collector of Tweety Bird and clowns. Amy loved the time spent with her family and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Sally and Louis Jankowski and uncle, Gary Jankowski. Amy is survived by her loving husband of 17 years, Mark Drescher; loving mom and best friend, Alma Wieczorek; brothers, Gregory, Michael (Cathy) and Timothy Wieczorek; nephews, Matthew "Toby" (Katrina) and Travis Wieczorek; niece, Audrey Wieczorek; and faithful canine companion, Arctic.

The family will receive guests on Friday from 2 – 7:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd., Toledo (419-473-0300). Funeral Services will begin Friday at 7:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
