Amelia Loza, age 66, of Toledo, Ohio, went to heaven on Wednesday, October 14th, 2020 due to health issues and passed peacefully at home surrounded by family. She was born in Toledo on May 11th, 1954 to Katherine (Flores) Del Rio.
Amelia worked at multiple nursing homes in the area, as well as, the United States Postal Service. She sponsored children and was very generous to children in need. She made a lot of donations to The Ronald McDonald House.
Left to cherish Amelia's memory is her mother, Katherine Del Rio; children, Romero Flores, Filemon Flores, and Margareta Loza; and grandchildren, Raul, Vanessa and Victoria. Amelia was preceded in death by her step-father, James Del Rio; the Love of her life, Dan Fox; and very close friend, Patula Stamos.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Ronald McDonald House on Monroe Street of ProMedica Hospice.
There will be no service for Amelia at this time.
