Amanda L. Wexler

February 8, 1981 — March 9, 2021

On Tuesday March 9, 2021 Amanda "Mandy" Wexler passed away peacefully after a long and courageous cancer battle.

Mandy was born to Timothy and LuAnn (Rahm) Gibson on February 8, 1981. She married her best friend and the love of her life Josh Wexler on April 25, 2015 and is the mother to Kaleigh (14) and Kason (12) Wexler. She was a 1999 graduate of Whitmer High School and pursued a degree at both Davis Junior College and Lourdes University. She was a long term employee with Best Buy before her most recent job with Libbey Glass. Mandy was an award winning artist as well.

In 2018 the Wexler family made the cross country journey to call Arizona home. Mandy absolutely loved it there. Her battle with cancer brought them back to the Toledo area in 2020 to be closer to family. Mandy's goal was to get strong enough to be able to go back to her home in AZ.

Mandy loved her family tremendously. She was her kids' biggest BMX cheerleader even in her final days. When she couldn't physically make it to the track or watch via livestream she loved to hear the updates from the kids and see their trophies after every race. Mandy also loved spending time at Disney, The Toledo Zoo and the Toledo Museum of Art.

Mandy's fighting spirit was evident in everything she endured through her life. She had a no nonsense attitude and was not afraid to speak her mind. Her outgoing personality, quick wit, strength and loyalty will be something that is cherished forever.

Left to cherish Mandy's memory is her loving husband of 22 years, Josh; children, Kaleigh and Kason; mom, LuAnn (Gary) Cole; dad, Tim (Diane Dooley) Gibson; in-laws Diane (Jeff) Goldstein and Lenny Wexler; Grandma, Pat Lynch; sisters, Jessica (Justin) Nowaczyk, and Marissa (Travis) Cole; step-sisters, Jenny Bicanovsky and Katie Maskey; brother, Shane (Kendra) Gibson; sister-in-law, Nikki (Steve) Tibbetts; brother-in-law, Tony Wexler; uncle, Eddie (Leah) Rahm; nephew, Parker; nieces, Mavis, Charlie, Meeka and Macklyn; many other aunts, uncles, cousins and dear friends. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Sonny Rahm, Bob Lynch, Stan and Shirley Gibson.
