Allen H. Huss

Allen H. Huss, age 79, of Maumee, Ohio passed away September 9, 2015 at Elizabeth Scott Nursing Home. He was born September 6, 1936 in Toledo to Rudolph and Ardeth (Simmons) Huss. Allen was employed with Plaskon for more than 34 years. He enjoyed fishing, golfing and spending time with his family. Allen was a parishioner of St. Patrick of Heatherdowns Catholic Church.
Allen is survived by his loving wife, Mary Jane Huss; children, Elizabeth (David) Richter, Michelle (Rodney) Miller, Matthew (Bee) Huss, and Chris (Rachel) Huss; many grandchildren; great granddaughter; and brother, James (Marilyn) Huss. In addition to his parents, Allen was preceded in death by his brother, Richard Huss.
The family will receive guests Friday, September 11, 2015 from 2:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home - SW Chapel, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd. (419-381-1900) where a Rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm. The Funeral Mass will be held Saturday, September 12, 2015 at 10:00 am at St. Patrick of Heatherdowns Church. Interment will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Maumee.
