Allen Ivan Eubank

Allen Ivan Eubank, of Toledo, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly, Monday, May 24, 2021, at the age of 40. He was born on February 1, 1981, to the late Paul and Judy (Day) Eubank.

Allen, known as "Big Al" to those who loved him, was a caring and loving husband, brother, step-father, and uncle. Big Al enjoyed a good joke and got a kick out of teasing family, especially the kids. But most of all, you could always count on him for a bear hug. There was always one way you could tell Big Al was coming down the street, he would be blasting Metallica in his Saturn, ready to crack a tall boy, and spend time with family. He had a passion for cars. If he wasn't at a car show, you could count on seeing him faithfully washing and waxing his Saturn Ion, which he considered his baby, every Sunday.

Big Al was an avid movie collector and when he wasn't spending time with family, you could find him watching an old war movie or a good action flick. Big Al loved the game of football. He spent his high school years, playing for Sylvania Southview and enjoyed watching an Ohio State game.

He is survived by his loving wife, DeAnna; step children, Destiny, Kaylee, and Micheal; brothers, Aaron and Andrew Eubank; nieces, Ashley and Courtney Eubank; nephews, Joshua and Nolan Eubank, as well as, great nieces, and great nephew, Summer, Kendalyn, Taylor, and Cameron. Along with many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Family and friends may gather at the Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 West Laskey Road, Toledo, Ohio 43623, on Wednesday, June 2, 2021, from 10:00 am – 12:00 pm, where his funeral will be at 12:00 pm with Pastor Roy Southerland officiating.
