Allen Behrens

Allen A. "Yogi" Behrens, age 69, of Toledo, passed away August 1, 2016 at Ebeid Hospice Residence. He was born August 19, 1946 in Toledo to Chester and Henrietta (Boldt) Behrens. Al was employed with Lucas County Board of DD for almost 17 years and Frito-Lay for 12 years. He enjoyed NASCAR and any kind of racing. The greatest love of Al's life was his family.

Al is survived by his wife, Helen M. Behrens; children, Tonya (Brian) Glonek, Thomas (Sara) Rutkowski, Daniel (Lisa) Rutkowski and Tami (Keith) Pasenow; many grandchildren and brother, Terry (Judy) L. Behrens.

The family will receive guests Friday, August 5, 2016 from 9:00 am - 11:00 am at Newcomer Funeral Home - SW Chapel, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd., Toledo (419-381-1900). Funeral Services will begin Friday at 11:00 am. at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to ProMedica Hospice or the Lucas County Board of DD in Al's memory.
