Allan B. Lovett

Allan B. Lovett, age 75, of Toledo, passed away March 12, 2025 at University of Toledo Medical Center. He was born August 26, 1949 in Highland Park, MI to William and Lucy (Gurunian) Lovett. Allan served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.

Allan started his career at Bleim Steel, and retired from Johnson Controls. After retirement, he started a business doing residential kitchen and bath renovations.

Allan was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his sister, Lori Donahue; brother, James (Scot Shumaker) Lovett. He is also survived by his friend and companion, Darlene Johnson; and extended family in Kentucky and Michigan. Allan’s feline companion, Henry, passed away shortly after Allan.

Allan enjoyed attending car races, white water rafting, camping, and other activities with his large group of friends.

The family will receive guests, Monday, March 31, 2025 from 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. at Newcomer SW Chapel 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd., Toledo, (419-381-1900).

Memorial contributions may be made to Parkinson's Foundation in Allan's memory.
