Allan Gendaszek

Allan (Julian) Gendaszek, age 84, of Toledo, OH passed away May 3, 2024 at Addison Heights Nursing Home. He was born August 24, 1939 in Toledo to Felix and Sylvia (Blaschki) Gendaszek. Allan was a 1958 graduate of Central Catholic High School. He worked in sales for Metropolitan Life Company. Allan was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, Maumee Eagles, Moose Lodge and the Lancers Car Club.

He is survived by his children, Sylvia Gendaszek, Julianne Gendaszek and Jay Allan (Carrie) Gendaszek; grandchildren, Shannon Henderson, Katie Butler, Adisen Gendaszek, Olivia Gendaszek and Brianna Garverick; great-grandchildren, Jonas Butler and Madi Henderson and brother, Gene Gendaszek.

The family will receive guests, Monday, May 13, 2024 from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. at Newcomer SW Chapel, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd Toledo (419-381-1900). Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association in Allan's memory.
