Alison Linsey Thompson

Alison Linsey Thompson, age 38, resident of Toledo, Ohio, passed away on Thursday, August 18, 2022. She was born in Toledo to Charles and Patti Thompson.
Graduate of Bedford High School, she continued her education at Lourdes College. Alison worked for numerous law firms, throughout the Toledo area, in her 20 plus years of working as a paralegal. When she wasn't working, she enjoyed watching Netflix, cooking, and being with her family. She loved taking trips with her parents, like when they would go to Mississippi. Alison was a huge fan of Gordon Ramsey and Elvis. A quirky sense of humor, she was very funny and enjoyed making others around her laugh. She got a kick out of teasing her dad, something that will be missed but always remembered. Alison was an overall good person; she was someone you could truly count on if you needed anything. She will forever be missed by those who knew her. Her smile, laugh, jokes, will continue to live on until we see her again.
Those left to forever cherish her memory are her loving parents, Charles "Chuck" and Patti (McKinney) Thompson; brothers, Joey (Malorie) Thompson and Leszek (Julia) Szyjka; nieces, Emma Rose and Evelyn Elizabeth; nephews, Austin James, Ryan and Wyatt Szyjka; boyfriend and best friend for over 2 years, Dewaun Gilbert; aunts, Sherry Vaughn, Pam (Chuck) NewMeyer, Linda Lesage, and Kim McKinney; and numerous cousins, extended family members, and friends.
Alison was preceded in death by her maternal and paternal grandparents, Tim and Linda McKinney and Joel and Evelyn Thompson; aunt, Debbi Tobin; uncles, Alden Lesage and John Burks; and a cousin, Joshua NewMeyer.
Family and friends may visit at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 West Laskey Road, Toledo, Ohio 43623, on Wednesday, August 24, 2022, from 2:00 pm until 8:00 pm.
