Alice Wisebaker

Alice H. Wisebaker, age 74, of Toledo, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, July 6th, 2010 at the Toledo Hospital. She was born May 10th, 1936 to Alexander and Isabella (Gordon) Fox in Toledo. Alice was an account clerk with the former Toledo Mental Health Center for 10 years and also worked with the Mini Mug House for 10 years. She was a member of the VFW Post #2898 Ladies Auxiliary and active with the Girls Scouts with her daughter Pamela for more than 35 years. Alice enjoyed the outdoors camping and fishing. She also loved playing card games of all kinds and the company of family and good friends.

In addition to her parents, Alice was preceded in death by her loving husband, Bruce R. Wisebaker; daughter, Pamela Houser and brother, Gordon Fox. Alice is survived by her sons, Mark and Alan Wisebaker; son-in-law, John Houser; 5 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren and several extended family members and dear friends.

The family will receive guests Sunday from 2-8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300). Funeral Services will begin Monday at 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow at Historic Woodlawn Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers Memorial Contributions may be made to the family.
