Alice M. (Buczkowski) Kusz, passed away to eternal life, to be with her loving husband, Edmund who preceded her in death on April 27, 1993. They were married 43 years. Alice's parents were Anthony and Josephine Buczkowski. Alice took pride in being a homemaker, loved gardening and crafting. Being busy around her home was one of her life's enjoyments. She made providing love and comfort for her family, her priority in life.
Alice valued her Catholic Faith and had been a charter member of the former St. Jude Catholic Church. She had been active in the Altar Rosary Society and was a Eucharistic Minister.
Alice was employed at the former Tiedtke's and LaSalle's Department Stores. At retirement, Alice worked at Charlie's Waffle House as a cashier.
Left behind to cherish her memory are her loving daughters, Cheryl Cark, Cynthia (Nick Zientara) Kusz and Connie (Steve) Kemmerley; and her four loving grandsons, Kevin (Sara) Cark, Steve (Amy Sundin) Cark, Tyler and Conner Kemmerley; many special nieces, nephews and friends; her dearest friend, George Conklin. In addition to her parents, Alice was preceded in death by her husband, Edmund Kusz; and brothers, Ted and Melvin Buczkowski.
The family will receive guests, Friday, September 21, 2018 from 3:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home - SW Chapel, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd. Toledo (419-381-1900) where a Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. The family will greet guests Saturday, September 22, 2018 from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the Funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m. at St. Hyacinth Church, 719 Evesham Ave Toledo. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery.
The family would like to thank Genacross Wolf Creek and Hospice of Northwest Ohio for their loving care of Alice.
