Alfred E. Gabrys

Alfred E. Gabrys, age 83, of Toledo, Ohio passed away November 17, 2014 at St. Lukes Hospital. He was born January 20, 1931 in Bridgeport, CT. to the late Michael and Mary (Pekar) Gabrys. Al was employed with the Teledyne for more than 28 years retiring in 1988. He was a wonderful father who took care of his family and loved to spoil his grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, Al was preceded in death by his wife, Kristine; son, Larry and brother, Michael. Left to cherish his memory are his children, Maureen (Jack) LaRoche, Kent (Mary) Gabrys and Dawn (Jeff) Patch; sister, Rosemarie Davis; grandchildren, David and Hannah Patch.

The family will receive guests Thursday, November 20, 2014 from 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home - SW Chapel, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd. (419-381-1900). Funeral Services will begin Thursday at 5:00 pm. at the funeral home.
