Alexander Nicholas Hess Ii

Alexander Nicholas Hess II, age 33, of Toledo, Ohio, passed away on October 5, 2022, at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center. Alexander was born June 2, 1989, in Toledo, Ohio, to Alexander Hess and Brenda (Schrader) Trester.

Alex was someone who could light up any room he was in, especially playing pranks on people. His love for music, he enjoyed listening to all kinds of genres and was very talented at playing the drums. Alex liked to be outdoors, whether it was on the skateboard or taking bike rides with his dad. Being a dad meant everything to Alex; he loved his children and spending time with them. Alex's smile, love, and pranks will truly be missed by all who knew him. This isn't goodbye, it's see you later..

Those left to forever cherish his memory are his loving wife, Terri (Purtee) Hess, whom he married on April 2, 2018; three step-children. father, Alexander (Lori Keeler) Hess; mother, Brenda (Kerry) Trester; sister, Michelle Trester; brother, Kerry Trester II; step-brother, Kevin (Staci) Keeler; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Grief never ends, but it changes. It is a passage, not a place to stay. Grief is not a sign of weakness, nor a lack of faith...It is the price of love. We love you, Alexander, and miss you terribly You will always be in our hearts.
