Alberta Miller

Alberta L. "Bert" (Mathews) Miller, age 79, passed away peacefully at her home on Wednesday, March 2nd, 2011 surrounded by her loving family. She was born July 5th, 1931 to Albert and Bessie (Ford) Mathews in Davenport, Oklahoma. Bert had a very welcoming and heartwarming spirit that enabled her to take care of her family. She will be remembered as a supportive wife, mother, grandmother and a great friend to many. Her family will deeply miss her.

Left to cherish her memory are her sons, Dennis and Scott (Dana) Miller; grandson, Scott Edward Miller; sisters, Lucille Wilson, Juanita Dobson and Weleta (Tom) Riller and special niece, Sena Ulrich. Preceding her in death were her parents, Albert and Bessie (Ford) Mathews; husband, Louis "Lou" Miller; sons, Michael, Patrick and Robert Miller; brother, Eddie Joe Mathews and sister, Oleta (Donald) Hall.

The family will receive guests Sunday from 1-8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300). Funeral Services will begin Monday at 10:00 a.m. in the funeral home. Interment will follow in Forest Cemetery.
