Albert Kraft

Albert H. Kraft, age 88 of Temperance, passed away Tuesday, September 27th, 2005 in Lake Park care Center. He was born July 10th, 1917 to Albert H. and Mary Margaret (Stuka) Kraft in Beaver Falls, Pennsylvania. He was employed with Powertrain for 24 years retiring in 1980 and was also a member of the UAW. Al was a longtime resident of Temperance and parishioner of St. Anthony Church, Temperance. He was an avid golfer spending as much time as he could on the course. He also enjoyed bowling, dancing and music.

In addition to his parents, Al was preceded in death by his wife, Genevieve (McDeavitt) Kraft; infant daughter; Coletta; son, Paul; 2 brothers and 2 sisters and. He is survived by his loving family including his children, Al (Susan) Kraft, Jr.; Susan (Tom) Kay; Mary (Ted) Stachowiak; Tom Kraft and Judy Kraft; sister, Regina (Robert) Caldwell; grandchildren, Amy (Pat) Benore; Jeff (Sherri) Kay; Michelle (Brian) Rood; Regina (Joel) Bolbach and Kelly (Shaun) Brandhuber and great grandchildren, Kaylee; Jace; Maxwell and Isabella.

The family will receive guests Thursday from 2-8:00 p.m. at the Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300). A Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Services will begin Friday at 9:45 a.m. in the funeral home followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Anthony Catholic Church, 4605 St. Anthony Rd., Temperance at 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow in Toledo Memorial Park.

Memorial Contributions may be made to St. Anthony Church School and Organ Fund or to Visiting Nurse Hospice.
