Albert J. "Al" Bryant

Albert J. "Al" Bryant, 79 of Sylvania, passed away Sunday February 23, 2003 at Flower Hospital. Mr. Bryant was born November 18, 1923 to Cornelius and Clarice (Dick) Bryant in Toledo. He served in the U.S. Army during W.W.II and was employed as an Electrician with Baker Brothers and most recently with AP Parts. Al was active in the V.F.W. Post # 3310 and was a member of the Church of God Seventh Day in Petersburg, MI. Al also was an Amateur Radio Operator (K8TCB).

He was preceded in death by his parents and 2 brothers.

Survivors include his wife of 48 years, Shirley of Sylvania, son: Gary J. (Alice) Bryant of Cuyahoga Falls, OH., daughter: Rebecca Borthwick of Sylvania, 5 grandchildren, and 7 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be Wednesday form 11a.m. – 1 p.m. at the
Newcomer – Farley Funeral Home, 4150 West Laskey Road at Talmadge (419-473-0300) with services at 1p.m. in the Funeral Home.
Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association, or the Church of God Seventh Day.
