Alan W. Henricks

Alan W. Henricks, age 69, of Toledo, passed away Wednesday, July 28, 2021 at Lakes of Sylvania. He was born December 13, 1951 in Oak Harbor, OH to Roy and Genevieve (Wendt) Henricks. Alan was a graduate of Oak Harbor High School. Throughout most of his life he owned businesses such Hawk's Tackle, H-Tech Computers and worked for Bronde's Ford and Vin Devers. In his spare time he enjoyed riding his motorcycle, loved the water and fishing, coaching his daughter's softball leagues and spending time with his grandchildren. Alan's smile, spirit and caring nature will truly be missed by all who knew and loved him.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his sister, Dawn Henricks. Left to cherish Alan's memory are his children, Kathy (Michael) Smith, Lindsey Martin, Greg Martin and Heather (Garrett) Gossett; grandkids, Kelsey (Mason), Kylei, Kylie, Nathan, Mason and Mia; great-granddaughter, McKinley; and feline friend, Bo.

The family will receive guests on Monday, August 9, 2021 from 4 – 8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home – Northwest Chapel, 4150 W. Laskey Rd., Toledo (419-473-0300).

Memorial contributions may be made to Traveler's M.C. who honored Alan's wish for a final ride.
