Alan Edward Gallagher, age 70, of Sylvania, Ohio passed away Monday, February 1, 2021. He was born in Toledo, Ohio on December 27, 1950 to the late William and Mary Jane (Knecht) Gallagher.
Alan had an obsession for problem solving and could fix anything. He loved music, played in bands, his most recent being Storm Bandits. Alan collected, restored, and built guitars. He wore his beard with pride, and before he was unable to, he loved to sing. Alan enjoyed traveling with his wife and showering her with romantic gestures. He loved spending time outdoors camping with family and friends, having a couple of cold ones on Tuesdays with his sons and friends. He was known to always be there for friends, family, and anyone in need; especially for his grandchildren. Alan had a big heart for everyone, including all his pets.
Left to cherish Alan's memory is his wife of 37 years, Nena Gallagher; sons, Steven (Amy) DeBaca, Steven (Kristi) Gallagher; grandchildren, Steven II, Vincent, Angel, Steven Jr., Kaitlyn, and J.D.; great-grandchildren, Jaxson and Axton; sisters, Sharon and Patricia; and nieces and nephews.
