Agnes M. Siegwald

Agnes M. Siegwald, age 87, of Toledo, passed away Saturday, July 20, 2013 at Heartland of Waterville. She was born on May 14, 1926 to William and Emma (Schuett) Scheuerman in Toledo. Agnes was a bank teller for 35 years with Toledo Trust before retiring. She was a longtime member of Christ the King Catholic Church. Agnes was an avid bowler, participating on leagues with her husband. She enjoyed crocheting, gardening and was an excellent cook. Agnes loved baseball, especially the Cleveland Indians. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Jim Scheuerman; brothers-in-law, Ralph Dunnigan, Al Duncan and Jim Richardson. Agnes is survived by her loving husband of 41 years, Gordon H. Siegwald; children, Chris (Frank) Parmelee, John (Terry) Siegwald, Gordon (Gwen) Siegwald and Elizabeth (Richard) Johnson; grandchildren, Sean, James, Ilia, Kristen (Tony), Allison, Kate, Cliff and Clark; great-grandson, Chase; brother, Bill (Fran) Scheuerman; sisters, Rita Duncan, Clara Dunnigan and Helen Richardson; and many other relatives and dear friends.

The family will receive guests on Tuesday from 3 – 5:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd., Toledo (419-473-0300). Memorial Services will begin Tuesday at 5:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
