Adrian Wertz

Adrian Wertz, age 9, of Berkey, Ohio, went to be with the Lord on Friday, January 8, 2021 with his loving parents by his side. He was born on June 29, 2011 to Tiffany Garcia and Billy Wertz in Toledo, Ohio. Adrian went to Evergreen School and enjoyed seeing all of his friends and teachers. He had a bubbly personality which could bring a smile to anyone's face. Adrian was a huge fan of Marvel characters, especially Batman and Joker. He liked playing his Xbox; mainly Fortnite and WWE. Adrian also liked watching YouTube videos and WWE wrestling. He loved spending time with his cousins and siblings, something he always cherished. Adrian looked forward to camping and swimming with his family. His smile, spirit and sweet caring nature will truly be missed by all who knew and loved Adrian.

He was preceded in death by his great-grandparents. Left to cherish Adrian's memory are his parents, Billy and Tiffany Wertz; siblings, Breahna, Brenden, Donovin, Jamie, Billy Jr. and Jessica; grandparents, Larry (Juanita) Wertz, Lionel Garcia Sr. and Sheri Stimax; great-grandma "Memaw", Carol Palmer; uncles & aunts, Lionel Garcia, Jr., Larry Wertz, Jr., Christopher Wingard, Walter (Sheila) Stimax, Kim (Jason) Palmer, Dawn (Roy) Garrett, Brenda (Dale) Wertz, Sabrina Wertz, and Jessica (Josh) Squires; and a host of cousins and dear friends.

The family will receive guests on Friday, January 15, 2021 from 4 – 8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home – West Sylvania Chapel, 3655 King Rd., Toledo, OH 43617 (419-392-9500). Funeral Services will begin Saturday, January 16, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home. Interment will follow in Ottawa Hills Memorial Park. (For the safety of the Wertz family and their guests, masks are required with social distancing).
