Adam Michael Ketcham, age 38, recently of Defiance, Ohio, passed away on Thursday, October 27, 2022. He was born in Bryan, Ohio, on November 24, 1983, to Michael and Kimberly Ketcham.
Adam attended Whitmer High School, where he met his loving wife, Mimi (Melissa). Together, they shared four beautiful children. He was a wonderful husband and father; his children were number one in his eyes. Adam had worked as a dispatcher for Fountain City Leasing and he was a Freemason of the Defiance Masonic Temple. He was known for being the life of the party, where he would come with a big smile on his face, funniest jokes, dance moves, and the giver of the best bear hugs. Adam was a jack of all trades; he would help anyone in need and would give his shirt off his back anyone who needed it. He was the best listener and one who would give the best advice. Adam had a big heart, exceptional kindness, and was able to make you laugh, no matter how sad you were. He also wrote beautiful poetry, or Adam would call it "Rhyme Schemes", that his family will forever keep close in their hearts. Adam was an incredible and loving husband, father, son, grandson, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin, and friend who will truly be missed by all who knew him. Adam would want everyone to continue to smile and laugh until you see him again. This isn't goodbye, it's see you later…
Those left to forever cherish his memory are his loving wife, best friend of 21 years, and high school sweetheart, Mimi Ketcham, whom he married on January 27, 2006; four children, Haley, Kaitlyn, Kamron, and Jackson; parents, Michael (Kristin) Ketcham of Defiance, Ohio and Kimberly (Garry Schlosser) Athy Lovett; brothers and sisters, Beverly (Henry) Earhart of Manchester. Michigan, Brandon (Coral) Ketcham of Toledo, Ohio, Ashley Ketcham Reichert of Northwood, Ohio, and Michaela Ketcham of Defiance, Ohio; paternal grandmother, Phyllis "Jean" Ketcham; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws, and friends.
Adam was preceded in death and greeted in Heaven by his son, Gavin Ketcham; maternal grandparents, Robert and Cora Athy; and paternal grandfather, Raymond Ketcham Sr.
