Ada B. Rose

Ada B. Rose, age 81, of Toledo, passed away Thursday, March 20, 2008 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Perrysburg. She was born August 27, 1926 to Charlie and Lilly (Sweeney) Hicks in Clairfield County, Tennessee. Ada enjoyed gardening and spending time with her family and friends.

In addition to her parents, Ada was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Rose; daughter, Barbara McLaughlin; son, Charles Rose and daughter, Velma Burton. She is survived by her son, Gary (Cindy) Rose; grandchildren, Larry; Wesley; Christopher; Annie; Jeff; Melissa; Charles and Michael; 21 1/2 great grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Bev Rose; brother, Junior Hicks and dear friends, Florence and Susie.

The family will receive guests Wednesday from 2-8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300). Funeral Services will continue on Friday at Harps Funeral Home, Jellico, Tennessee, followed with burial at Douglas Cemetery, Jellio, TN.
