Dorothy Schenck

Dorothy M. Schenck, age 90 of Ottawa Lake, passed away Tuesday, September 14, 2010 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio in Toledo. She was born October 31, 1919 to Rene and Evelyn (Kopf) Ghyselink in Toledo. Dorothy was a graduate of Central Catholic High School and she later worked at Stines Dress Shop in downtown Toledo for a few years. She married the love of her life, Donald Schenck and they spent 65 wonderful years together. Her family will always remember her as great wife, loving mother and grandmother.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Mary Lynn Bradley and Don Schenck; grandchildren, Tracy (Michael) Gregory, Heather (Mike) Muszynski and Derek (Heather) Bradley; great-grandchildren, Traci and Tony Muszynski, Morganne Gregory. Colleen, Derek and Dylan Bradley, Darrin and David Schenck.

The family will receive guests Friday from 11:00 a.m. to noon at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300). Graveside services will follow Friday at 1:00 p.m. in Toledo Memorial Park.

The family would like to thank Hospice of Northwest Ohio for their kindness and the wonderful care they provided for Dorothy and to the family.
